Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) theory involves intensive computational concepts such as search algorithms, knowledge representations, gaming, learning, and planning. The advents in computational power with efficient storage mechanisms have revolved the software systems with intelligent frameworks that are underlying the principles of AI. However, explain ability of such software system is still under question. The interpretability and transparency of these systems will enable common man to interact in a better way. Hence, XAI methods are the current focus in research and the demand for transparent systems are increasing in domains applications of AI such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning. The areas of applications of XAI are Natural Language Processing (NLP), Cyber Physical System, Social Media, Transport Data Science, Geo-informatics, Medicine, Finance, Planning and operations by government sectors etc. This workshop aims at knowledge sharing of research accomplishments among scientific community, the researchers from academia and industry. The workshop welcomes original research contributions to promote further development of these areas. This workshop will focus more on explainable AI methods, applications, frameworks, software systems and so on.

Assoc. Prof. Jayanthi Ganapathy, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, India.

Jayanthi Ganapathy, received her Doctoral degree from Anna University, India in 2021. She has 12 years of teaching and 5 years of research experience. She is the recipient of Pondicherry University Gold Medal. She has received silver medal in Anna University Alumni Association in 2017 for proficiency in image processing. She has gained research experience through funded research projects carried out at Sri Ramachandra Medical Center (SRMC), and Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry. Her research interest includes Automated AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Data Science. She has associated with technical program committee in various international conferences such as AIIPCC 2023, CSAE 2022, ICDSIS 2022, MMBD 2022. She has published book chapters in Taylors and Francis CRC Press, Springer, IGI Global, and research articles in SCI journals, IET Intelligent Transport System, Springer, IGI Global, and Inderscience.
